The AAQG is a cooperative organization within the aerospace industry
in the Americas (North, Central and South Americas).

The AAQG works to establish and maintain a dynamic synergy based on trust between the Americas’ aerospace companies on initiatives to make significant improvements in quality performance and reductions in cost throughout the value stream. IAQG Standards are published with various technical committees both established and recognized in the Americas.  Additionally, the Americas works in cooperation with other technical committees to create and maintain quality management systems and supporting quality-related processes.

The IAQG created and manages the Industry Controlled Other Party (ICOP) certification scheme and within the Americas, the AAQG manages this ICOP certification scheme through the Registration Management Committee (RMC).

AAQG Award

The AAQG Excellence Award (formerly the Mike Gallagher Award) recognizes individuals who have distinguished themselves by making unique and outstanding accomplishments to the aviation, space and defense industry, related to standards development, oversight, and maintenance of the IAQG ICOP scheme in the Americas sector.
