IAQG Authentication is launching in late Q3 2026, with the existing auditor recognition process expected to open in late Q2 2026. As part of this process, a freeze period is expected to begin in mid-June and continue through early September. Auditors should take steps now to ensure their authentication status is current in OASIS and that they are prepared to move into the new IAQG-managed model.
What Auditors Should Do Now
- Follow up on any renewal already submitted to your current Auditor Authentication Body (AAB) and confirm that it has been fully processed and reflected in OASIS before the freeze period begins.
- Follow up on any in-process authentication application with an AAB and ensure it is completed and visible in OASIS before the freeze period starts.
- Confirm that your authentication status in OASIS is active at the start of the freeze period to remain eligible within the IAQG Certification Scheme.
- If your AA or AEA authentication is set to expire in mid-June or earlier, renew it immediately to help avoid disruption.
- Gather the information you will need for the Existing Auditor Recognition Process, including your IAQG Training login credentials, your OIN, and your OASIS login credentials.
How to Confirm Your Authentication Status in OASIS
Before the freeze period begins, auditors should log in to OASIS, navigate to Search & Track, review their authentication status and expiration date, and confirm that their status will be active at the start of the freeze period.
What Happens During the Freeze Period
Authentication records in OASIS will be frozen during the recognition window, and all active auditor authentications at the start of the freeze period will remain recognized through the end of the freeze period, regardless of the listed expiration date. After the freeze period concludes, only auditors recognized through IAQG Authentication will have their status reflected in OASIS and remain eligible to continue conducting audits.
Bottom Line
Taking action now can help prevent delays later. Auditors should follow up on pending renewals and applications, renew immediately if authentication is close to expiration, confirm their status in OASIS, and ensure they have the required credentials for the recognition process.
