The IAQG Americas works to establish and maintain a dynamic synergy based on trust between the Americas’ aerospace companies on initiatives to make significant improvements in quality performance and reductions in cost throughout the value stream. IAQG Standards are published with various technical committees both established and recognized in the Americas. Additionally, the IAQG Americas works in cooperation with other technical committees to create and maintain quality management systems and support quality-related processes.
The IAQG created and manages the Industry Controlled Other Party (IAQG Certification Scheme) certification scheme and within the Americas, the IAQG Americas manages this IAQG Certification Scheme through the Americas Certification Oversight Team (ACOT).
Annually, each sector acknowledges one member company volunteer participant who has made an exceptional contribution central to the sector’s success and the mission of the IAQG. The Award recipient is announced during the Fall Sector Meeting.
