To better support Certification Bodies (CBs) and auditors, IAQG is releasing several updates to OASIS functionality effective February 20, 2026. No downtime is required for this release. These changes focus on streamlining audit setup, reducing unnecessary data entry, improving workflow clarity, and strengthening audit data quality.
During audit setup, users will no longer be required to manually enter a certificate number. This information is already captured when certificates are uploaded, reducing redundant data entry and improving efficiency.
Key Improvements
- Certificate Number Removed
Audit setup no longer requires manually entering the certificate number, since the system now uses the data attached to uploaded certificates.

- “Special Audit” Attribute Added
CBs can now flag an existing Initial, Recertification, or Surveillance audit as having a Special component without changing the audit type.

Auditors will see a “!!!” alert in their portal and emails. Audit types labeled “with Special” will be removed.

- Simplified Audit Close‑Out
The non‑conformity workflow stage has been eliminated. Auditors now choose between:
-
- Audit Complete – No follow‑up actions required
- Audit Complete – Continuation not recommended
Audits stay in “In Progress” until one of these options is selected.
- NCR Response Due Automation
NCR response due dates now auto‑populate based on level and entered issue date:
-
- Major: 7 days
- Minor: 30 day
- Feedback Reasons Limited Based on Recipient
Feedback reasons are now limited based on the recipient type selected.
Data Quality Reminders
IAQG has observed an increasing number of missing visit data records in audits. Please ensure:
- All audit visits are fully documented in audit setup
- Total onsite days are entered
- Auditor’s onsite time is correctly recorded
Missing visit data results in blank areas in audit download documents and inaccurately reduces auditors’ calculated onsite days, directly affecting NCRs per audit day metrics and overall audit analysis quality.
Reminder: OASIS Insights Reports Now Available
OASIS Insights reports are now available as audit files that can be accessed by auditors and CBs. These reports appear approximately 36 hours after an audit is published.
What’s Coming Next
IAQG is preparing a release candidate with additional functionality expected mid-May 2026. Planned enhancements include:
- Auto‑completion of dates between certifications and certificates
- Reviewer ability to open visits
- Warning prompts before auditors delete findings
