Transition Rules Announced for 9104:2022 Series & 9101:2022

IAQG, In the news, OASIS

The IAQG Certification Oversight recently announced the release and publication of the rules and projected dates for transitioning the ICOP scheme from the current 9104 Series and 9101 requirements to the revised requirements contained within the recently published 9104-001:2022 “Requirements for Certification of Aviation, Space, and Defense  Quality Management Systems “ standard. These rules are contained within the Supplemental Rule 004, “ Rules for 9104:2022 Series and 9101:2022 Transition”, dated February 14, 2022, document.

This transition plan also includes the soon to be published revised versions of:

  • 9104-002:2022 “Requirements for the Oversight of Aviation, Space, and Defense Quality Management System Certification Programs”,
  • 9104-003:2022 “Requirements for Aviation, Space, and Defense Auditor Training, Development, Competence, and Authentication”
  • 9101:2022 “Requirements for Conducting Audits of Aviation, Space, and Defense Quality Management Systems” standards.

The Supplemental Rule and supporting transition material is found on the OASIS help site.

Our goal is to significantly improve the Industry Controlled Other Party (ICOP) Aerospace Quality Management System Certification scheme and deliver to our stakeholders a scheme that is Robust, Recognized  & Valued. With your support, we will achieve this objective.
