As 2021 quickly comes to an end, the IAQG would like to provide an update on our much-anticipated OASIS v3 launch. Over the past several weeks, the OASIS development team has been refining the details needed for the projected OASIS v3 launch, including user acceptance test feedback, data transition and coordinating the release of new standards.
The User Acceptance Testing welcomed valuable clarifications to the newly developed OASIS v3. Through the many hours of testing across all user groups, participants reviewed, offered feedback, and proposed suggestions on further improvements that we believe must be considered.
As many of you have witnessed during the webinar previews, the platform is built, however, the immense amount of data (the Stage 2 Checklist alone contains almost 40 million database entries) requires more testing to ensure it meets our integrity requirements. OASIS v3 must perform with all the necessary historical and in-progress data while strategically aligning with the new standard releases. It is critical the integrity of the data transition between the current OASIS and the new platform is well-tested.
The revised launch schedule for OASIS v3 is planned for the 1st Quarter of 2022. As the digital team completes its testing and any feedback development, we will provide a definitive timeline for launch that includes an approximate 30-day advanced notice and the current system freeze parameters. Additionally, this communication will include documentation from OPMT on a resolution to address current, in-progress delays that may result from the freeze.
Note, the current OASIS platform will continue to operate until OASIS v3 launches, so our industry is not without a system.
